For that better day try turning the lights low if you can and turning on the lights low if you can and turning on some jazz or classical music kick off your shoes and lay back on the couch it does wonders to.

Exercise is a great way.. group sports too. Takes away a lot of stress.. Running too.

you can try auto-hypnosis, too, it can be very effective
relaxing music, can help
